Tekken 8 has been highly anticipated ever since it was initially announced and now we finally have the release date locked and loaded. During Gamescom 2023, we got a new trailer that confirmed that the game is launching on January 26, 2024.

Along with the release date, Tekken 8 producer Katsuhiro Harada teased a new mode called Arcade Quest. The trailer shows players creating a custom avatar to bring it into a virtual arcade. It will strictly be a single-player mode and that is what we know for sure at this point. I’m hopeful we will learn more about it until the game launches.

Also, the footage noted that we’ll see “all-new gameplay that actually has some AI kind of infused learning aspects to it”. I have no clue what that means, but once again, we’ll see. I guess…

And until we learn more, it’s worth reminding that Tekken 8 will launch on January 26, 2024, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
