The Gamescom Opening Night Live stream has shown off a new trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 as a part of the ceremony. Other than getting a closer look at the narrative, we have some character reveals as well.
While some people thought we might see an entire roster, that isn’t what we have here. Nonetheless, we can see both the legendary Mortal Kombat boss Shao Kahn and his Queen, Sindel in action and they look damn good. On top of that, we also have a closer look at Raiden who looks younger and spunkier than ever before. Last but not least, we have an amazing Kameo in the form of Mortal Kombat 3 sub-boss Motaro.
While I already have a favorite, I sure hope we haven’t seen everything yet and I sure hope Sheeva will make it to the final rooster. Do it, pretty pleeease.
Mortal Kombat 1 is coming to PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 on September 19, 2023.
