Joel Jordan have just launched Time Bandit – Part 1: Appendages of the Machine on both Steam and itch.io.
The game tells a story of having a crappy job and working for a boss. In this case, the boss behaves like a typical capitalist tycoon, exploiting workers and using them to gather time crystals for different nefarious purposes.
Time Bandit – Part 1: Appendages of the Machine runs on a real-time clock similar to Pokemon Gold/Silver. Your shift is based on real-world time and different tasks will take different amounts of time. What that means is that you will sometimes meet characters at a specific time of day that will be scheduled in advance. That is a mechanic that you will have to rely on in order to overthrow that capitalist bastard.
