Get your robo-boots ready, Domesticated Ant Games are launching their retro-inspired platformer, Gravity Circuit, today.
By the looks of it, what we have here is a game heavily inspired by the Mega Man and Mega Man X series. You take control of a metal hero named Kai and your task will be to stop the evil schemes of the so-called Virus Army. It is quite a combat-heavy title and hand-to-hand fighting seems to play a big role here. You’ll also be able to ride armor and upgrade chips as you enjoy “dialed to the max” action (as the blurb puts it up).
The visuals are very NES-friendly. Of course, many of the effects seen here would be very difficult to create by utilizing the power of real 8-bit hardware, but the vibe is there.
Gravity Circuit is coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC today.
