Vampire Survivor’s next free update is live right now

Vampire Survivors is an indie gem that keeps on delivering. After a stellar debut last year, the game snatched the Best Game award at the British Academy Games Awards and even some Best PC Game awards from the most prestigious magazines. Looking at the trends, the developers show no desire to slow down supporting the game, and after two paid DLC expansions and a couple of free updates, we have yet another free update which gives us enough reason to stay in this monster-infested Italy.
The “Overwhelming update”, as it is called, added new levels, new features, half a new character, and a brand new game mode. The new stage, Astral Stair, can be described as a series of corridors featuring flying paintings and a new spinning wheel that will trigger random events within the stage. Other than that, Yatta Cavallo got a new form in the update, and the new relic GoldFinger started a limited-time challenge where our character becomes powerful and invisible for a brief period of time. Last but not least – we have six new achievements, which is great news for those of you who are trying to hunt them all down Pokemon-style.
Vampire Survivors is now available on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
