The new Zelda: Breath of the Wild Halloween Hunt mod looks amazing
Literally “breathtaking”.
Famous modder Waikuteru did it yet again and this time with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The Halloween mod he put up added some spookiness to the iconic adventure, a brand new questline, and a major enemy. It pretty much feels like an actual DLC.
It all begins with a quest called “The Halloween Hunt” that you can pick up in the Korok Forest. As it appears, the residing Koroks are “in distress,” and you have to solve the mystery of this haunted zone. Eventually, you will also have to take down a new foe called the Ghost Rider, which is, by no means, an easy task.
The mod even includes a journey where you’ll have to collect 30 Cursed Pumpkins in order to make a stew to dispel the magic therein. As expected, you’ll be wearing a spooky outfit for this occasion and you’ll have to finish the quest quickly because it has a time limit. Once you’re done with the quest, you’ll be able to take out the Ghost Rider for good!
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is available now on the Nintendo Switch and the Wii U.
