Nintendo has released a new trailer for Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon.

The two-minute trailer starts off by showing Necrozma's new move called Photon Geyser, a Psychic-type move only available to the Prism Pokemon. Next, we see a pair of new Z-Moves being used by Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dusk Wings Necrozma, the alternate forms of Necrozma who serve as the mascots for Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

In the video, Dusk Mane Necrozma unleashes the Steel-type Z-Move Searing Sunraze Smash on a Gigalith. It is immediately followed by a shot of Dusk Wings Necrozma slapping a poor Mimikyu with the equally powerful Ghost-type Z-Move Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom. Both Z-Moves not only sound cool, but the attack animations also look totally awesome, if not over-the-top. Both Z-Moves are also available to Solgaleo and Lunala when they have their respective Z-Crystals equipped.

The second half of the trailer focuses solely on the Rotom Dex, a Pokedex possessed by the cute-looking Plasma Pokemon who has the ability to enter electronics. In Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, players can develop a bond with the Rotom Dex by communicating with it regularly. Forging a strong bond with it will benefit players in two ways.

Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will introduce the Roto Loto. The Roto Loto is a sort of slot machine which rewards players with useful items as a result of developing a bond with the Rotom Dex. The items players get have different effects, which include increased experience from battles and faster hatch times for Pokemon eggs. The effects are really useful and should make the games even easier to go through.

For competitive players, the more important Rotom Dex upgrade is the new Z-Power attached to it. By forming a strong bond with the Rotom Dex, it will unlock its Z-Power which grants you the ability to use two Z-Moves in a single battle. Normally, players can only use one Z-Move per battle.
