Capcom has released a new trailer for the upcoming fighting game Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.

The video once again teases the story, which centers on Ultron Sigma - the fusion of Ultron from Marvel Comics and Sigma from Mega Man - whose mission to annihilate life puts him on a collision course with the heroes. He is armed with two of the six Infinity Stones.

In order to stop Ultron Sigma, the Marvel and Capcom heroes set out to recover the four other Infinity Stones with the help of the Mad Titan, Thanos, who is imprisoned in Avengers HQ. However, it appears not everyone is cool with the latter idea.

The trailer shows Iron Man stopping Captain America from enlisting Thanos to the cause, which divides the team into two sides. This confirms that even in video games, Cap and Tony Stark still don't go along well even when the stakes are insanely high. Looks like friendly fire will be in play first before everyone bands together to defeat Ultron Sigma.

Ghost Rider and Dormammu from Marvel are also shown in the trailer, along with Firebrand from Ghosts 'n Goblins and Jedah Dohma from Darkstalkers. The latter will also spell trouble for the heroes as he plans to utilize the Symbiotes in order to sow terror onto the merged Marvel and Capcom worlds.

Another important detail in the new trailer is the improved face of Chun-Li. In the previous story trailer, fans pointed out that Chun-Li looks hilariously off and not in line with the image fans have been accustomed to for years. Capcom has now addressed the issue, with Chun-Li now looking much better in the new trailer.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite arrives on September 19 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It is the sixth main installment in the popular crossover fighting game series that started back in 1996 with X-Men vs. Street Fighter. Infinite features more than 30 characters (including DLC characters), which includes Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Hulk, and Spider-Man for Team Marvel, and Chris Redfield, Zero, Strider, and Ryu for Team Capcom.
