Forza Horizon 3 will be released worldwide this coming September 27 and as the countdown begins, additional information about the game have been detailed by the developer, Playground Games, to rev up the excitement of fans. The most important of which are the recommended specs to play the game on a Windows 10-equipped PC. Check out the details below and see if your current setup is good enough to handle the game.

Recommended

  • · CPU - i7 3820 @ 3.6GHz
  • · GPU - NVIDIA GTX 970 or NVIDIA GTX 1060 or AMD R9 290X or AMD RX 480
  • · VRAM - 4GB
  • · RAM - 12GB
  • · Hard Drive Type - HDD
  • · Available Space - 55 GB
  • · Resolution - 1920 x 1080
  • · Windows Version - Windows Anniversary Edition 64-bit 14393.101

Of course, if your PC is geared with even higher specifications, then all the better. Additionally, PC players will have the ability to fully customize their experience by tweaking some of the game's options, like the vertical sync, resolution, motion blur, mirrors, and reflection. If your PC is capable of going all the way to 4K, then by all means ramp up your settings to the maximum.

Forza Horizon 3 will be launching with more than 300 vehicles in tow. And now, another one has joined the roster, one that's very familiar to Halo fans: the Warthog.

Officially named as the 2554 AMG Transport Dynamics M12S Warthog CST, this bad boy will be available as a free download to anyone who has played Halo 5: Guardians or Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Download codes for the Warthog will start to roll out starting September 5 via Xbox Live Message. Players who have never touched a Halo game in their lives will have the chance to get the Warthog through a special in-game event in October.

The full Xbox Live Achievements List was also detailed by the developer, which you can check out here. Forza Horizon 3 is the third game in the Forza Horizon subseries and the ninth overall installment in the Forza series. The game is set in Australia and will allow cross-platform multiplayer between the Xbox One and PC, similar to Rocket League. Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition owners will be able to play the game four days earlier on September 23.
